happy birthday to me

i'm a bargain shoe string
i can't see the sun shine underneath this road
i only took this one to get right through
coiled rivers and bending paths got me here
i'd rather be sleeping
i want to be
swept out to sea on a curled strand of sea foam tides
the trick is not to move
once your inside the moon's cup
i met the sunset, but she'd forgotten me
at least the sidewalks calling out to me
"you're beautiful heals"
but i'm sick of bone coloured pills
making for tired footsteps
mangled trudging
heavy on the tires, easy on the tread



..i think i hate art
at least, i know it hates me

i do, i do, i do. i absolutely love cardboard. regardless of it's non-archival purposes, it makes for such a great canvas :D

I got a really good deal just the other day; cardboard was selling at an all-time low at 10 cents a ton so I bought 20 tons. The next day I heard that the value was predicted to rise another 3 cents so if I sold it at 12 cents a ton, that would mean a profit of .... uhm... well, you figure it out. Anyway, the best part of this deal was that I got to keep all the cardboard in my basement. Canny business acumen, eh? :D

excellent, excellent! i just get my cardboard from unappreciative tossers. if they don't want it, i will gladly take it off their hands. that's how i've acquired the mass amounts that i currently have hoarded in my possession :] i completely understand - once you have it, you're attached. even to the little bits, i am. that's how i feel about all my "scraps". i treasure them.
